Organic Farming for Sustainable Lifestyle
Tanzania
Hello WWOOFers, my name is Seraphine working in Igoma Organic Farm together with my other two Partners. I live at the lowlands of Same District nearby Mkomazi National Park. I live a local lifestyle with my friendly neighbours
Farm activities at Igoma Farm mostly include land cultivation, weeding, preparing manure including mulching, harvesting, cooking, irrigation and more organic farming practices. Working per day takes 4-6 hours depending on the day activities
There is a house at the farm for Accomodation, where all plans including cooking food are done at the farm where the house is. Meals will be the local food we cook and eat, sharing with WWOOFers as members of our family.
The farm is very close to Mkomazi National Park (Just a walking distance like 300m), whereby WWOOFers will get time to plan for visits during free hours and see the beautiful nature and animals available at the Park. I like hiking at the Pare mountains

I had the chance to stay almost two weeks on Seraphine's family farm. It is located in Paré mountain, the place is wonderful. It was a very rich experience and one of the most beautiful in terms of human experience. Seraphine and his family welcomed me like a member of their family. I was able to learn and ask all the questions about their agriculture, their way of life, I was also able to learn to cook locally and have many exchanges and discussions.
Thanks to the whole family.
