Welcome to experience the real African life in Tanzania while volunteering.
Tanzania
I'm a gentleman living with my family I have kids. I love volunteers from all over the World I respect volunteers and I hope will experience a lot while living with us.
Here is my Story: -
After several years of neglect, I left my home of Igamba Village at the age of 15 to find more support and a more hopeful future elsewhere. While passing through villages, finding food in trash piles and sleeping under trees, I finally arrived in my future home of Kibaha on top of a livestock transport train.
In Kibaha, I put my special gift for music to good use, landing a job as a pianist at local church in exchange for sleeping on the church pews during the week. While playing one Sunday, I met a touring Australian man who would forever change my life.
After learning of my homelessness, the man took me under his wing and offered to pay for my secondary school. Because of the man generosity, I didn’t manage to graduate my secondary school the Australian man was not able to pay for my school fees anymore because he got cancer, I felt sad. I decided to teach myself English and computer repair.
I opened a successful internet cafe and computer repair center in Kibaha and lives there with my wife and my children. However, I felt called to return to Igamba Village and help the orphans in the same way I was lifted up by someone else.
Thus the creation of Prosperity Wealth Masters Family Organisation (PWM Family Intl).
With your help and generosity, I hope to build up the orphanage to accommodate as many children as there are on the streets of Igamba and the surrounding regions. I know firsthand how far a little generosity can go for those in such desperate situations.
In order to achieve our vision and run our project, we need volunteers!
We operate two different location where all the activities are the same.
(Kibaha Coast Region near Dar es salaam and Igamba Village in new songwe Region)
We are looking for volunteers who will help us in the following areas:-
. Those who will be able to help in our farms in Kibaha or Igamba Village will depend on the volunteer where he/she prefers to stay.
.Teaching children in various subjects such as English, mathematics or art.
. Play and have fun with the children,
. Helping to raise funds for the purchase of orphanage materials and needs to the Children.
We eat together with our volunteers because we like living with volunteers as part of a family 3 meals per day.
Volunteers will also live with our families so that they themselves feel part of the family and learn the real African life.
I really like to have fun with my volunteer, I also like comedy, music, dance, I like to swim and learn new things, I hope our volunteers will enjoy it a lot because our priority is our volunteers to be happy and I also like to heal the psychology of those who feel stressed. and provide spiritual healing, so I hope through volunteers all things will be okay

I was really excited when i planned my trip to tanzania and i didn´t knew what to excpect, because it was my first time in Africa. But i would never have excpected such an open and warm welcome like at Joseph´s place! From the first second´s it felt like a second home. I had not only the opportunity to experience the african life in it´s most authentic way, but also to make friends for life. We learned a lot about nature and plants working at the farm and experienced the life in Tanzania by going to church, cooking authentic meals with Flora and making amazing trips with Joseph and his family. We also had the opportunity to help teaching kids at the local school and play cardgames and football with Josephs and the neighbours kids in the afternoon. On the weekend we went to the national park, to the beach, to the museum, visiting the Maasai and a lot more! Thanks again to Joseph, who is really a special person with a big heart and his wonderful family for this amazing experience and hospitality, i will never forget this trip! Asante sana! Manuel

It was my first whoof experience and it was truly amazing. I wish I could have stayed longer. Joseph is someone that has a heart of gold and I spend such good time with him, his team and his family. He just became a friend. I had a room for myself, with mosquito net, and even WiFi when Joesph was at home.
Flora, his wife, is very nice and cooks amazing food and very opens to teach you.
I had the choice to work either in the fields for few hours in the morning or with the kids at school. Eventually, I feel like I spent more time having discussions with Joesph and enjoying life than working.
I recommend 100% visiting Joesph and his family !

Staying with Joseph, his wife Flora, and their kids Ruth and Rieke was an unforgettable and heartwarming experience. From the first day, they welcomed us so warmly that I felt like part of their family. It’s a genuine local experience — Joseph includes you in his daily life, whether going to church, helping on the farm, or visiting friends.
Cooking with Flora was a highlight — she’s an amazing cook. We often prepared Tanzanian meals together. After work, neighborhood kids came to play, and once a week the lively local market offered everything from fruits and spices to souvenirs. Ruth and Rieke are super polite, smart, and open-hearted, and Joseph’s friend Joshua always brought great energy and laughter.
Farm work was enjoyable and never too hard — mostly planting or watering vegetables, always with time for breaks. Visiting the School was inspiring and full of smiles; we helped the kids with writing and counting and played together during breaks.
I learned so much about Tanzanian life and culture and admired how calm and kind everyone was — I never once heard anyone get angry. Weekends were something special — I won’t spoil too much, but let’s just say: safari! Joseph is open-minded, flexible, and always happy to make your ideas happen. If you love music, you’ll enjoy the local rehearsals and beautiful live music at church.
Thank you, Joseph, Flora, Ruth, and Rieke, for this unforgettable time. I’ll never forget you and will always keep you close to my heart.

Where to start about this magical time? We had never been to Tanzania before but Joseph and his family and team managed to make us feel right at home in just two weeks! From the day we arrived we were treated with the greatest hospitality we have ever experienced, Joseph helped with each and every concern. Our work consisted of helping at their small farm, but it didn't even feel like work because of all the fun we had! Eating sugarcane and coconut, telling stories and sharing ideas (the people at the farm have an exceptional mentality towards happiness and helping, we learnt a lot!). We felt that every idea of ours was appreciated! At home, we relaxed or sometimes helped washing the dishes or we accompanied Joseph's wife Flora to the market where she patiently helped buy souvenirs. :) Also we shopped for the meals we shared everyday, which were the best meals we ever had... A few times Flora even taught us how to prepare some things. She is the most lovely and talented woman ever!! And don't even get us started on their wonderful daughters - we still miss them so much as we played rounds and rounds of UNO and got our hair dressed :)
Joseph, you made so many of our dreams come true. From the safari to your orphanage project to the excursion to Dar - you were the best host we could ask for and your family became our family. We love you all so much! Asante sana!

How to put such a life changing experience in so few words ?!
Our stay with Joseph and his family has been more than perfect, with the excellent traditional food, the authenticity, the constant enthusiasm of Joseph and his many many projects for the community.
The region of Kibaha had many things to offer and felt very safe for the three of us. Joseph was a very attentionate host and able to adapt to our needs (when we had a friend coming along or for ensuring our safe travels as a few of many examples).
Joseph is an experienced host whith many more ideas to come, an open heart and plenty of fascinating stories to tell. Everyone feels welcome in his home and will be able to contribute to the community, enjoy an authentic Tanzanian experience and have the best time of their life if they come with an open heart!
Sadly, we only had a few days and didn't have time to see all we wanted to see, we definitely recommend staying for at least a full week to enjoy the weekend and explore the nearby national parks for instance. We'll make sure to come back for a month next time !
I know our stay may be over but the memory of it will stay forever and the adventure is only at it's beginning!
Asante sana Joseph !
